Cocurricular Assessment

Overview

Chicago State University is committed to providing excellent educational experiences in all its programs, including cocurricular activities. At Chicago State University, we believe that student learning happens throughout and across the college experience. Many programs and offices engage students in learning outside of the classroom from internship programs to student participation in cocurricular activities. Cocurricular assessment provides a broader picture of our students' total and wide-ranging learning experiences. These programs have articulated student learning outcomes, such as developing leadership skills, obtaining career knowledge, and strengthening research skills. These student learning outcomes reflect the mission and strategic plan of the University and Student Affairs.
